Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, National Deputy Chairman ( Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria) and Executive Vice Chairman, Ikorodu LGA has commiserated with the entire Yoruba race and the good people of Oyo State on the ascension unto glory of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Iku Baba Yeye, Alaafin of Oyo who joined his ancestors on Thursday.
According to the vice chairman, she described the late king as an encyclopedia of Yoruba history, ebulient personality and was full of wisdom.
Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba who is also the founder of Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement and National P.R.O. ( Women For SWAGA) said that we could not over Emphasize the importance of His Majesty’s role as a father figure in the fight against insecurity, kidnappings and pervasive corruption in Nigeria; particularly being the voice of the Yoruba people, which is mostly needed now, considering the present aggravated perilous times we are confronted with.
This is indeed an irreplaceable huge loss to all sons and daughters of Oduduwa, particularly the Oyo people.
We take solace in His Majesty’s love for women, youths, and his unflinching fighting spirit for the restructuring of our governance system. Our father and Kabiyesi Oba Adeyemi will be greatly missed.
