Constituency Youths Surprise Hon Kasunmu With Nomination Form

Youths in Ikeja Constituency 2, under the aegis of Ikeja Constituency 2 Youths Alliance (ICOYA) on Wednesday May 4, 2022 purchased APC Nomination and Expression of interest Forms for the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ademola Richard Kasunmu, popularly known and addressed as ARK.

NationalMoment gathered, many ICOYA youths have benefited from various employment and empowerment opportunities through Hon Kasunmu since he was elected into the Lagos House of Assembly seven years ago.

Speaking at the form presentation ceremony at the Constituency office of the lawmaker on Seriki Aro street, Ikeja Wednesday May 4, 2022, the Coordinator of the group, Prince Kazeem Haruna from Agidingbi, stated that “Hon. Kasunmu has been doing a fantastic job since 2015, he has assisted a lot of Youth with employment opportunities, including myself and we felt the only thing we could do to show appreciation at this time is to come together and support him.

So we decided to task ourselves and our friends to raise fund and purchase the party’s nomination and EOI forms for him, to show appreciation and support for his 2023 re-election bid”

Also speaking at the event, which took place at Hon. Kasunmu’s Constituency Office on Seriki Aro Street, Ikeja, another stakeholder of ICOYA, Mrs. Ifedayo Temilola of Ward D, Oke-Ira, Ojodu LCDA, commended Hon. Kasunmu for his remarkable representation in the last seven years and also thanked him for the job opportunities given to constituents like her.

In his submission, Mr. Babatunde Oguns praised Hon. Kasunmu for his selflessness but lamented it is unfortunate that many of the people who benefitted from Hon. ARK are not saying it openly while many even betrayed him outrightly. Oguns expressed optimism that ARK Season 3 is a done deal.

In his response, Hon. Kasunmu expressed surprise at the good gesture of Ikeja Constituency 2 Youth Alliance and thanked them warmly for taking it upon themselves to purchase the form for him.
He promised to take good representation to the next level as he seeks to represent them again in 2023.
