The immediate past Police Public Relations Officer. Lagos Command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu has been appointed the Divisional Police Officer, Makinde Police Divisional Headquarters, Mafoluku-Oshodi, Lagos. He replaced Francis Ebhuoma, who has been promoted to the rank of an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
A statement made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) revealed CSP Ajisebutu has officially been handed over the baton of administration.
The statement further noted that member of the Police Community Relations Committee were on hand to support the outgoing DPO and the incumbent, including the chairman, Chief Femi Akeju, Treasurer, Otunba N. A. Osho and Secretary, Elder George M. Okoye, in addition to all the senior police officers of the division.
In his remarks, the PCRC Secretary, Elder George Okoye, prayed for and wished the outgoing DPO well, recounting his many good deeds while serving the division, and welcomed Ajisebutu with open arms.
Ajisebutu, a prolific police officer, has served in different capacity in his policing career, the most recent being as PRO of the Lagos Command under Retired AIG Hakeem Odumosu and the current CP, Abiodun Alabi.
He was one time the PPRO Oyo State Police Command from 2015 to 2019 and PPRO Zone 11, Osogbo from 2019 to 2020, and has also worked in various capacities such as Deputy PPRO, Ogun State, PA to both Commissioner of Police in Ogun State Command and Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Research and Planning, Force Headquarters Abuja, DIG Leye Oyebade, in 2021.
CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
