Eid-El-Fitr: TODAL Chairman Greets Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu

The Chairman of Lagos State Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association (TODAL), Comrade Olatunde Oladunjoye has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over this year’s Eid-El-Fitr celebration.

Oladunjoye said in an interview with journalists that “we thank President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu greatly because God used him for Nigeria during the Ramadan fasting.

“There was no war, or conflicts, and we also appreciate the efforts of our able Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for keeping Lagos peaceful, most especially, for giving out palliatives to the people to have an hunger-free society.”

Oladunjoye, who spoke with newsmen at the palace of Oniba of Iba on Wednesday, when he paid him homage in celebration of this year’s Eldel Fitr in Lagos, appreciated God adding that “it pleases God, who gave us opportunity to go through 30 days Ramadan fasting and also afforded Muslim faithfuls to end it well.”

He commended the efforts of Alhaji Musa Mohammed, the National President of Road Transport Employer Association of Nigeria.

He thanked him for leading the association progressively, and for given out palliative to the people to break their fast during Ramadan period.

The number one tricycle man in Lagos also extended appreciation to HRM, Oniba of Iba land, Dr Sulaiman Ashade 1, (Oniba Ekun).

He noted that just as that National President did, he also reached out to the people during Ramadan.

“We pray to God to prolong his life and I am using this medium to congratulate all Muslim brothers and sisters on this year’s Eid-El-Fitr.

“All our supplications would be answered by God, we will witness more of this celebration on earth,” he said.

Comrade Oladunjoye enjoined all to seek forgiveness from God, and enjoined everyone to stay clear of sin.

“Whether small or big, every unrighteousness is sin. We should not just keep ourselves holy during Ramadan period. We should not sin after the end of fasting.

“We should all stay away from sin. The Quran and even the Bible teach us to br of good character. Whether there’s Ramadan or not, God forgives.

“The lessons learnt from Ramadan is for us to be faithful, truthful and do things according to God’s rules and regulations as laid down by Prophet Mohammed,” he said.
