How Raymond Dokpesi Suffered Stroke in April, Died in May 2023

Founder, Africa Independent Television and Raypower 100.5 fm, Chief Raymond Dokpesi is dead.
Dokpesi reportedly died on Monday 29, 2023, aged, 71.
AIT founder died one month after he suffered from stroke, information monitored by our correspondent has revealed.
Meanwhile, Dokpesi had escaped from COVID-19 in 2020 before he finally succumbed to death in an Abuja hospital on Monday.
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party had suffered stroke just immediately after the Ramadan and he had been managing his health since then, a close family source had said.
Another source said, Dokpesi was placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities through walking out at the gym.
The source said during one of his routine gym exercises, Dokpesi was electrocuted while using one of the gym equipment, leading to stroke and his eventual death.
The Dokpesi family is expected to issue a statement on the development soon.
Recall that Raymond Dokpesi and members of his family were in 2020 hospitalized at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital after they were diagnosed with COVID-19. They, however, survived the disease.
