Just In: Shina Peller Picks APC Senatorial Nomination Form Friday

Hon. Shina Peller, member who represents
Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency in Oyo State has declared his interest to represent Oyo North Senatorial seat in Oyo State, Peller made this declaration on Thursday May 5, during a forum organized by Coalition of Progressives Nigerian Youths tagged: Changes of Young Nigerians Seeking Elective Positions in Lagos.

According to Hon. Peller who flew in from Umrah where he had gone to observe lesser hajj said, come tomorrow morning (Friday) May 6th, he will pick the senatorial form to contest for a seat in the upper legislative chamber in Abuja.

With this declaration, he has declined the call to run for president as being speculated by some youths across the nation.

Hon Peller has always been in the forefront encouraging youths to be actively involved in politics, reminded them not be carried away as young people with individual ambitions.

We must stay focused. I am still focused on the paradigm shift of power. We will have and propose to the party that the young people are ready to change the course of Nigeria and they should be allowed to do so.’

Hon. Peller urged more youths to run for legislative positions across board.

Also, speaking at the forum, one of the aspirant of Oyo State House of Assembly, Obatunde Oladapo, seeking to represent Ido state constituency, to him, the life we all live is a delicate one, saying no one should blame anybody for his inability to rise up, he said, Nigeria with over 200 million population, if anybody tells you, you are the leader of tomorrow, fight them, tell them you are the leader of today, the House of Assembly aspirant further said, there’s no cheap election in the world, therefore, power not channel in the right direction could lead to destruction, he therefore urged youths to infiltrate the two most popular parties in the country if not, the older politicians would not relinquish power to them easily.
