Not Ayo Adebanjo But Prof Ayo Banjo

This story earlier posted on social media, passing of former Afenifere leader, Ayo Adebanjo, the story was not true but refered to passing of former Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof Ayo Banjo.


The story generated lots of reaction, here are few reactions as posted on Awa Bamaji Facebook page on Sunday.

Baba is not 90 but 96, which he celebrated in April, to start with.

Pa Ayo Adebanjo has reportedly passed away at 96.

The story making rounds on social media now has it, the former Afenifere leader has succumbed to the hand of death, this is however not true.
