Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was among the dignitaries present at the wedding nikkah between AbdulBaasit, son of Hon. Kafilat Ogbara to his wife, Raabihah on Sunday April 21th, 2024 in Lagos.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented at the wedding Nikkah by his vice, Alhaji Kashim Shettima.

Shettima was also present at the reception that took place immediately after the wedding Nikkah and was chairman of the reception ceremony.

The All Progressive Congress’s bigwigs from National Assembly including senators, representing Lagos West and East, Tokunboh Abiru, Idiat Adebule were in attendance.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was represented by his wife, Ibijoke and wife of his deputy, Adejoke Hamzat.

The Governance Advisory Council leader in Lagos, Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi was also there including Senator Ganiyu Olarenwaju Solomon, popularly known as GOS.

Lagos State House of Assembly speaker, Hon Mudashiru Obasa led other lawmakers of the House to the occasion.

Groom’s mother, Hon Kafilat Ogbara urged the newly wedded husband, AbdulBaasit to love his wife, Raabihah unconditionally.

Hon. Ogbara made this statement while speaking with journalists at the wedding Nikkah of her son in Lagos on Sunday.

Hon Ogbara also appealed to the couple to have the fear of God inrespective of whoever or whatever may be and must do things together.

Groom’s mother also encouraged the couple to love each other and to be there for one another, ‘they both should continue to abide by the deeds commanded by God and stay clear off those things He forbids, in keeping to this rules, according to the representative of Kosofe at the Federal House of Representatives, they would do well and enjoy their marriage.

Ogbara noted different circumstance would arise during their union, adding God could not be wrong when He says do this, and don’t do this, they would surely enjoy it, she said.
